Cookie Policy

Two separate things, and this page keeps them apart. The website is a website: it can set cookies, and the only ones it uses are on its sign-in and buy pages, to sign you in. It counts page views without them. The app stores settings and your notes in an ordinary application folder. That is local application state, not a cookie, and no website can read it.
At a glance
Three things that are true before you read a single clause. They describe how the site and the app are built today, not what we intend to try to do. If any of them stops being true, this page changes before the change ships.
No cookies here but the sign-in
The sign-in and buy pages keep you signed in with a cookie of their own, and nothing else uses one. No advertising pixel and no cross-site tracker, and page views are counted without storing anything in your browser.
The app’s state is not a cookie
Settings, your sign-in token and your Notetaker library live in a normal application folder on your computer. Nothing on the web can read them, and they are not sent anywhere to be counted.
None of it is for advertising
The website has no ad network, no cross-site profile and no fingerprinting, and neither does the app. We do not sell what either one stores.
1. Who this notice is from
In this notice, StackAdroit LLP, we and us mean the company that makes the AirBubble app for macOS and Windows, runs the hosted gateway it talks to, and publishes this website. You means the person reading this page or using the app.
StackAdroit LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in India. Its LLP identification number (LLPIN) is ABC-0736. Its registered office is at 227, Sector D, CAT-Rau Road, Rangwasa, Treasure Fantasy, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 453331, India. This notice sits alongside the privacy policy, which covers everything else we process.
2. Two different things
Almost every confusion about cookies comes from mixing up a website with an application. They are not the same here, and this notice never treats them as one.
- This website: the pages you are reading now. A website can store small files in your browser: cookies, local storage and session storage. Section 3 is the complete list of what this one stores.
- The app: the thing you download. It keeps its settings, your sign-in token and your note library in an application folder on your own disk. That is ordinary application state. It is not a cookie, it is not readable by any website, and no browser setting governs it. Section 5 lists it anyway, because you should be able to see it written down.
3. What this website stores
As this notice is written, the only cookies are on the pages that sign you in: the sign-in page, the buy page and the page the AirBubble app opens when you choose Sign in. They are strictly necessary for signing in and are described in the first row below. No other page sets one: not an analytics one, not an advertising one. Page views are counted without a cookie; section 4 says how.
The table is still here because a promise is easier to hold when it is written as a limit. It lists every category we would ever use, what it would be for, and how long it would last. If a row moves from “none set” to a real cookie, that cookie is named here first.

- Counting page views with Vercel Web Analytics, so we can tell which pages are read and which are not. Nothing is stored in your browser for it: no cookie, no local storage, no session storage. In the European Economic Area and the UK, only once you accept.
- How long: Nothing is stored in your browser.
- Advertising
- None, and none planned. There is no ad network on this site, no retargeting pixel, and no social or third-party tracker embedded in these pages.
- How long: Not applicable.
The fonts on this site are served from this site itself, so reading a page makes no request to an outside font service.
4. Analytics
We count page views on this site with Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel already hosts this site, and it is on the subprocessors page.
For each page you open, Vercel receives:
- the address of the page, without anything after a question mark, and the site that linked you to it;
- your browser, operating system and type of device;
- roughly where you are, as a country, region and city, which it works out from your network address. It does not keep the address.
Nothing is stored in your browser for this: no cookie, no local storage, no session storage. Vercel tells visits apart with a code made from the request itself and discards it after 24 hours, so a visit today cannot be linked to one tomorrow.
We do not record what you click or type, we do not record your screen, and the counts are not joined to anything in your AirBubble account. No advertising network gets them. The pages that sign you in, your account page and the checkout are never counted.
In the European Economic Area and the UK, nothing is sent until you accept analytics, in the banner or in Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Anywhere, if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is sent at all. We can see the counts for 12 months.
5. What the app keeps on your computer
None of this is a cookie. It is application state, on your own disk, in the folder macOS or Windows gives an app for that purpose. It is listed here so that “we use no advertising cookies” is not doing quiet work for something else you would want to know about.

Screen recording, microphone and accessibility access on a Mac, and microphone access on Windows, are permissions, not storage. Your computer holds those decisions, not us. You can withdraw any of them at any time, in System Settings on a Mac or Windows Settings on Windows, and the app loses that capability immediately.
6. What never becomes stored data
The parts of AirBubble that people ask about most are the parts that leave nothing behind on either side. This is the short version; the privacy policy has the full account.
- Screen frames. When you hold the talk keys (fn control on a Mac, Ctrl Win on Windows), or once you select an area to ask about, the app takes one frame of each display. Only the one your pointer is on is sent, unless your question is about another screen. During a walkthrough or an agent task you start, it takes frames as it goes until the task ends. They are used to answer you and are never written to disk as images, by the app or by our servers.
- Speech. While a chord is held, audio goes through our servers to a transcription service so your words become text. In a voice conversation in English, your speech goes straight from your computer to Cartesia on a short-lived key we issue. Neither the app nor our servers keep the audio afterwards, and we cannot play it back.
- Agent tasks. The agent acts only on a task you ask for, in your own words. Steps that can be undone, such as opening an app or a site, searching or typing into a field, it takes without asking again. If you turn on Always approve routine steps, a task the app judges to be routine starts by itself after 5 seconds unless you cancel it. Before a step it recognises as sending, posting, submitting, deleting, accepting or installing something, it asks you once. It never types sign-in details, a one-time code or a card number, and it stops before paying on any page it can tell takes money. Those steps need you. Screen control, where it does each task from screenshots of the display it is working on, is on unless you turn it off. Updating to 1.2.0 turned it on once, even where it was off before. With it on, it keeps a log of each step on your computer, and each time it runs it deletes the days of that log more than 30 days old. Our servers keep that a task ran, how many steps it took and whether it finished, for 90 days.
7. What we do not do
These are commitments, not descriptions of a current state we might quietly change.
- No advertising cookies, on the site or in the app. The app is not a browser and serves no ads at all.
- No cross-site tracking. Nothing we set is designed to follow you to another site, and we embed no third-party tracker that would.
- No fingerprinting. We do not build a device identifier out of your fonts, canvas, screen size or extensions, here or in the app.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell what the site or the app stores, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- No joining the two. Website storage and your AirBubble account are kept separate; we do not link what you read here to what you ask the app.
8. How to clear it
The website. Your browser can clear stored data for one site at a time. The control is normally under privacy or site settings, listed against airbubble.io. Clearing it signs you out of this site and breaks nothing else here. On the buy page and the page the app opens, Use a different account removes the sign-in cookie by itself. A private window works too: it discards whatever a site stored when you close it.
The app. Signing out removes the sign-in token. Deleting a Notetaker session or a saved discussion removes it from the library on your computer. Quitting the app clears the text it held in memory so a follow-up question made sense. Removing the app leaves its folder behind. Delete the AirBubble folder in Library › Application Support on a Mac, or in AppData\Local on Windows, to remove its settings, cached resources, spoken phrases and screen control log too.
Local deletion does not reach our servers. To have the account-side copies removed as well, write to privacy@airbubble.io. The privacy policy sets out what that covers and how long it takes.
9. Consent
In the European Economic Area and the UK, this site asks before it counts your page views: Accept, Reject, or choose in Preferences. Reject is as easy as Accept, and the site works the same either way.
Your choice is kept for 6 months in this browser, and Cookie settings at the foot of every page changes it at any time.
The sign-in cookies are strictly necessary, so they are never asked about. Anywhere, a browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is not counted at all.
10. Changes to this notice
When we change this notice we change the date at the top. If we start setting a cookie we did not set before, or add a vendor that receives data from these pages, we will say so here before it happens rather than after, and the earlier version will stay available so you can compare them.
